Meet
Mr. Dawa
Leadership With Integrity
A son of Kiminini. A servant of the people. Jacob Barasa Lusweti — known widely as "Mr. Dawa" — is not a politician in the traditional mould. He is a community builder whose life has been defined by action, not rhetoric.
"True leadership is measured by service, not promises — by action, not sweet talk."
Jacob Lusweti was born and raised in Kiminini, and his roots run deep in its soil. He understands the struggles of the farmer who wakes before dawn, the mother who walks miles for clean water, and the youth who cannot find opportunity. His is not a borrowed story — it is lived experience.
With leadership skills honed through years of grassroots engagement, Mr. Dawa believes meaningful development begins with genuinely listening to the people. He stands committed to transparent, accountable governance — placing Kiminini's families at the centre of every decision.
Together we are stronger. United, Kiminini will rise — from poverty to prosperity.
— Hon. Jacob Lusweti (Mr. Dawa)

Why Elect
Jacob Lusweti?
Politics is not about academic credentials — it is about the will to serve, the character to lead, and the courage to act. Here is why Mr. Dawa is Kiminini's best choice.
Jacob Lusweti was born in Kiminini, raised by its soil, and shaped by its struggles. He understands the farmer who wakes before dawn, the mother who walks miles for clean water, and the youth who cannot find work — because these are his people. That lived experience is not a talking point. It is his mandate.
His story is Kiminini's story.
Rooted in the People
Leadership Over Credentials
True development does not begin with a degree — it begins with skill, vision, and the readiness to serve. Mr. Dawa brings proven leadership qualities: the ability to listen, to unite, and to translate community needs into concrete action.
"Vitabu umekula" is not enough.
In a political landscape often defined by broken promises and self-interest, Mr. Dawa stands firmly on the pillar of integrity. Every commitment he makes is one he intends to keep — not because it is popular, but because it is right.
Integrity is not a slogan. It is a standard.
Integrity Above All
A Unifier, Not a Divider
Kiminini is stronger when it is united. Mr. Dawa's vision is inclusive — reaching farmers, traders, women, youth, elders, and persons with disabilities. Progress must be felt in every home, every ward, every corner of the constituency.
Together, Kiminini will rise.
Mr. Dawa measures leadership by what gets done, not what gets said. He is committed to using his position in Parliament to fight for legislation that directly benefits Kiminini — from bursary equity to road budgets, rural electrification to water projects.
Service is the only currency that counts.
Action, Not Sweet Talk
Faith, Humility & Purpose
Behind the ambition is a man of deep humility and faith. Mr. Dawa approaches this journey not with arrogance but with gratitude — grateful for the trust of the people, and sobered by the weight of what they need.
By Faith. By Service. By the People.
Community Work &
Achievements
From church halls to polytechnics, from harambees to school gates — Mr. Dawa has been present, active, and accountable to the people of Kiminini.
Championing Every Child's Right to Learn
From mobilising parents during Grade 10 admissions to directly supporting children with fees and materials — Mr. Dawa has made education his loudest call to action. No child in Kiminini should miss the door when it is open.
"Education for all. Get education for self-reliance."
Sitting With the Youth, Building the Future
Mr. Dawa met directly with Kiminini students at Bungoma National Polytechnic — listening, co-creating, and mapping welfare strategies. He has also empowered registered youth groups with resources and mentorship.
"The comrades were buzzing with energy — and so was he."
Putting Capital Directly in Women's Hands
Disbursing small funds directly to women's groups across Kiminini to help them launch and grow small businesses. Not charity — an investment in the women who anchor this constituency.
"When women thrive, all of Kiminini grows."
Standing With the Farmer at Every Season
Advocating for agricultural inputs, better market linkages, and irrigation support — Mr. Dawa has sat with farmers, heard their struggles, and committed to making Kiminini's agricultural potential count.
"A hungry farmer cannot wait for election season."
"As a team, we are united, focused, and unstoppable."
"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace." — 1 Peter 4:10
#KimininiMustRise
Present in Kiminini's
Spiritual Life
Mr. Dawa believes leadership is a form of stewardship rooted in faith. He has walked alongside church leaders, contributed to house-of-God projects, and stood as a unifier across denominations in Kiminini.
Supporting Church Leadership Across Kiminini
Mr. Dawa has been a consistent presence in the spiritual corners of Kiminini — attending the farewell of Father Lwanda at Kiminini Catholic Church and contributing to the fundraiser for the church gate at St. Martin Catholic Church Shangalamwe.
He does not come to church when cameras follow him. He comes because he believes that a leader who ignores the spiritual fabric of a community cannot truly serve it. Faith is the foundation of his service philosophy.
"Use whatever gift you have received to serve others." — 1 Peter 4:10
